WHAT IS GUAR?

The guar plant (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba) belongs to the legume family. Guar gum is obtained from the nutrient tissue of its seeds.

Provisan Guar Granules is intended to supplement the daily diet with plant-based fibre. According to the label, one 8 g serving contains 4.9 g of fibre.

WHAT IS GUAR MADE OF?

Guar gum contains soluble fibre that binds water and swells. Provisan Guar Granules combines guar gum with potato flour and apple powder and granulates the mixture.

Even in granular form, adequate fluid intake is important.

Recommended intake:

  • During the first two weeks, take 2 measuring spoons twice daily. This corresponds to a total of approximately 16 g of granules per day.

  • Then gradually increase to 4 measuring spoons twice daily. This corresponds to a total of approximately 32 g of granules per day.

  • Take shortly before a meal and always with plenty of water, approximately 1–2 glasses per serving.

  • The stated recommended daily intake must not be exceeded.

1 serving corresponds to approximately 8 g or 2 measuring spoons of 6.5 ml each.
