CDL drop conversion
Drop (Tr) ↔ milliliter (ml) conversion:
20 Tr from the Mychem CDL dropper bottle = 1 ml CDL.

Storage and shelf life of Mychem CDL
We guarantee a minimum shelf life of 6 months for our CDL if the container is stored upright and unopened in a dark, cool place. Depending on storage conditions, the CDL may remain usable for many additional months.
Depending on the frequency of use, storage temperature, and exposure to UV light, the ClO₂ concentration of the contents slowly decreases over time.
Reason: When the bottle is opened, especially above 11 °C, a small amount of chlorine dioxide gas escapes from the bottle each time. Light can also neutralize the chlorine dioxide.
Quality test
As long as the drops or liquid are yellow and smell like a «swimming pool», they still contain a significant amount of chlorine dioxide. If necessary, increase the amount used accordingly.
Colorless solutions without a «swimming pool smell» have practically lost their effectiveness and should be disposed of.
Manufacturing process of Mychem CDL
Our CDL manufacturing process is a special, complex Mychem development based on the reaction process.
For the manufacturing process, we use exclusively highly pure, very expensive raw materials that are not commercially available.
The result is our CDL in its purest form.
CDL content on the market
The Mychem chlorine dioxide solution with 3000 ppm ClO₂ has a strong yellow color. The content is monitored during manufacture using a precise measuring device.
Comparisons with other CDL products show that these usually contain only around 1000 ppm ClO₂. This means that Mychem CDL is highly concentrated and goes a long way.
